You can purchase workshop tickets HERE! \nUPDATE 10/8: Every year\, we dedicate some of the proceeds from our November New York kirtan to a charitable cause.\n‘Kirtan with Krishna Das with special guest Baird Hersey and Prana’\, is coming up on Saturday\, November 5\, 2016 at The Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew on Manhattan’s upper west side. \nThis year we will be making contributions to two wonderful organizations\, doing important work in aid of our world’s children growing up in the face of war. Here is some information for you. \nWar Child’s Mission: \nWar Child works toward a world in which no child’s life is torn apart by war. Armed conflict is a  reality for millions of children today. War Child is committed to supporting these children to overcome their experiences\, and have a real chance at a better future. \nChildren and young people have the right to grow up free from fear and violence\, to develop to their full potential and contribute to a peaceful future – for themselves and for their communities.\nBecause no child should be part of war. Read more … \nHealing Buddha Foundation’s Mission: \nIn particular we help the impoverished Tibetan refugee mothers and their children to be healthy and economically self sustaining.We empower Tibetan refugee mothers and their children who have become impoverished due to lack of education\, homelessness\, spousal abuse\, and unassisted pregnancies\, to become healthy\, educated and economically self sustaining community members. There is a $3.24 service charge for each ticket purchased online. \nYou will receive an email confirmation from Eventbrite which you should print out or have ready to show on your mobile device to be scanned as your ticket for entry. NO paper tickets will be mailed. \nOnce checked-in you will receive a wristband for entry into the event. \nIt’s a General Admission event.  Please arrive early at the venue to check your name on the Will Call list. The Will Call table will be open from 3pm onwards. Join the ticket holders line early for best seats. Ticket holders line begins around 5:00pm. Doors open at 6:30pm. \nNote that tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE. \nRemarks: General admission seating is in wooden pews on main level and balconies. Limited floor seating is available near the stage – bring your own pillow/blanket. \n\n  \n\n
