East meets West Guru Poornima Musical
A magnificent full moon evening to thank our great gurus for unconditionally offering us their love and wisdom and dispelling the darkness within us.  The Guru tatva is said to be a thousand times more active on the day of Guru Poornima making it a particularly auspicious day for singing their praise, feeling their effulgence and seeking their grace. Neem Karoli Baba an avadhoot bhakti saint and Hanuman avatar (1900- 1973) prescribed Raam Naam as the key to attaining the highest. Apart from a large following in North India, he also attracted many western devotees in the 1970s. Some of these devotees have been actively involved in western kirtan and new age chanting in the world bhakti music realm. On this special day we come together to celebrate with an eclectic bunch of musicians in India singing Gurbani kirtan, Punjabi Sufi, Carnatic, Sagun and Nirgun Bhakti bhajans and are joined by our American Kirtania friends from Neem Karoli Maharajji’s fold whose simple devotion is infectious.Please do join us from 7 pm India time / 6.30 am Pacific time onwards on July 23rd for this livestream on:
