We invite you to meet Krishna Das and to chat with him live on September 29th from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in O2 Yoga Santa Fe.
In 1994, Krishna Das began singing at the Jivamukti Yoga Center in New York. Over the years, he continued to sing, developing his characteristic style, fusing traditional Eastern kirtan with western harmonics and rhythmic sensibility. The audiences have always been growing. With a remarkably moving voice that touches the deepest string even in the most casual listener, Krishna Das, known to his friends, family and admirers as simply KD, has been called the “rock star” of yoga.
The award-winning film ‘One Track Heart: The Story of Krishna Das’ has been in more than 100 cities in the United States. In 2014, the Kirtan Wallah Foundation was formed.
To date, KD has released 15 well-received albums, including Live Ananda (released in January 2012) which was nominated for a Grammy in the Best New Age album category. In February 2013, Krishna Das performed at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, California.
