New! Sri Ram Kirtan Sadhana

By November 28, 2016 Blog

As we head to the 9th annual Open Your Heart in Paradise Retreat in Maui, Hawaii, we are happy to offer you Sri Ram Kirtan Sadhana that captures one of our favorite parts of the 5-day retreat.

We made this professional audio track live during the Ram Dass mala ceremony at last year’s gathering in December 2015. During this session, each retreatant greets Ram Dass personally and receives a mala with a thread from Maharaj-ji Neem Karoli Baba’s blanket, at the altar that graces the retreat.

The chanting holds this sacred space for all and seals the teachings received during the retreat into everyones wide open hearts.

During this session and while the greeting is happening, Krishna Das and Nina Rao lead the group in chanting the mantra ‘Sri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram’ accompanied musically by the band.  At the end arti (waving sacred lamp lights) is offered to the images of all the saints and deities presiding over the retreat. It starts with Krishna Das singing Hanuman Stawan and if you listen carefully you will hear the arti bell!

The cost is $4 for this 1 hour 38 minute track. You can stream it on our website or download it to have with you. Click the image below for a preview and additional information about this new Sadhana.

We hope that this continuous chanting of the sacred mantra will help you to deepen your own chanting practice at home; your car; wherever; or be the sound track for your asana practice.

You can purchase you Sri Ram Kirtan Sadhana in our online shop.

This gifting season, if you would like to send someone a Sadhana as a gift, we offer gift cards in a few different denominations good toward all products in the store!

If you already have this new Sadhana we would love to hear your comments. You can post them below!

Thank you so much and blessings. Your love is within and beyond the chant.. As soon as I read about this I could hear celestial voices chanting and raising the vibratikn of oneness .

I could say so much about chanting the names of God, of worshiping with the playfulness of the music. I heard someone on a yourube video say “You don’t work music , you play it” and that’s perfect for me ❤️✌????️
