RamRam,
Much Love to all of You.
Just returned from India. Chanted in Mumbai, Tiruvanammalai (@RamanaMaharshi’s Ashram!!!) and then went up to Rishikesh. We were originally interested in doing some yoga teacher training in rishikesh however due to our packed schedule, we didn’t have time in the end. We still had a great trip though, India was beautiful.
It was fantastic but as usual, traveling in India was exhausting.
We met so many wonderful people along the way and in Tiru, we did Parikrama (circumambulation) of the holy Arunachala mountain. Then I got a chance to go back to Kainchi and spend a wonderful, peaceful 11 days there.
Now I am back and after Sivananda Ashram, in the Bahamas, and Kripalu, the next weekend, I am officially on Hiatus. From March until the end of August, I will be hanging around NY area and not doing any long distance touring. There will be a few local events throughout the spring and summer, but mostly I will be resting and recharging and sleeping as much as humanly possible!!!
I haven’t taken any time off from touring since 2003…so this will be a very interesting time for me. I’ll miss chanting with you all, but I hope to be meeting with y’all online when our “Hanging in the Heart Space” internet Satsangs begin. Stay tuned for that.

Laundry day! India, 2016
–
Laundry day in India is just the same as doing laundry in any other country, although the methods in which it is done could be different. In countries like Great Britain and the United States of America, a washing machine and dryer are common appliances that are utilized when it comes to cleaning your clothes, and if they suffer a problem, it’s as easy as contacting somewhere like https:www.CoppellApplianceFix.com to come and repair the issue for you. My friends had to do this the other week because their washing machine just wouldn’t work, but luckily it’s fixed now. In places like India, however, the option of using a washing machine may not be available, so other means have to be considered. It works though, and laundry day is always a happy day for everyone.

“Devotion is a way of being, it’s not something you do. It’s dedication to finding awareness and Love. Chanting is like asanas for the mind and heart”
