Power of the Loving Heart

Welcome to the first ever online course with Krishna Das and Sharon Salzberg. These two friends and colleagues first met in India over 40 years ago and have remained close ever since. For decades they have each taught in their respective traditions: Sharon in the path of Buddhist Insight Meditation and Lovingkindness practice, and Krishna Das in the path of Bhakti Yoga.

As longtime friends and colleagues, KD and Sharon share a deep respect for each other’s practices and have explored them as a complement to their own lineage over the years. Sharon has her own affinity to different mantras and has chanted with KD for many years, and Krishna Das is a longtime student of meditation with many great Buddhist teachers in the Theravadin and Vajrayana traditions. Out of these shared experiences has grown a unique offering of the traditions of Buddhist Meditation and Bhakti Yoga, joined by the deep bond of friendship between these two teachers.

For several years Sharon and KD have been presenting public retreats together in this vein, and now for the first time, are bringing these teachings to life in the form of an online course.
